Primary Ovarian Lipoleiomyoma with Chondroid Metaplasia: an Original Case Report with Literature Review

Primary ovarian lipoleiomyoma is a rare benign tumor of the ovary predominantly consisting smooth muscles and adipocytes. Clinically, they are asymptomatic diagnosed accidentally during histopathological examination after surgery. Herein, we report case unilateral, primary in 20-year-old primigravida who presented with complaints abdominal distension for 4 months. The contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) revealed large, well-defined, heterogeneously enhancing mass right adnexa measuring 35.9 × 26.1 12.9 cm. A clinical diagnosis teratoma was raised. Unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy performed, histomorphology muscle admixed mature adipocyte cartilage arising primarily ovary. confirmed by immunohistochemistry. may be or manifest pain distension, like our index case. As there no pathognomonic symptoms, markers, characteristic imaging findings, definitive difficult prior to surgical removal. Histomorphology immunohistochemistry confirm nature tumor. This common solid at an unusual location should kept differential masses.
